Handgun Metallic Silhouette
Handgun metallic silhouette started at PCDHFC in 1971. It is an exciting sports that pits the marksman against increasing distances in a four stage match.
In a typical match, targets are set at 50, 100, 150, and 200 metres. The targets are actual size metallic silhouettes and each shooter has 40 rounds. Shooters uses large calibre handguns of all types.
This club also sponsors a similar sport using only .22 calibre handguns and rifles, with half-sized targets and reduced distances.
PCDHFC offers silhouette on the second Sunday of every month. In addition, members practice Monday nights under the lights on Range 7.
